About Us


Our company was established in 1956 as a Private Detective Agency by a disabled Cincinnati policeman named J. Frank House. Over the past 55 years the company evolved from Detective agency to fulltime Mystery Shopping Service and was called Restaurant & Retail Information Services. The current management team, looking to leverage their Mobile technology and marketing expertise, took over the business in 2008 with the vision to enhance their offerings from simple Mystery shopping to a more valuable service which helps our clients drive traffic to their businesses and increases their top-line revenue.

Today, we are called Client Expectations and we are a Digital Marketing company which specializes in providing top-line growth for B2C companies that serve a local consumer clientele. Our customers are restaurant chains, retail chains, banks, hotels, service companies, specialty retailers, and basically any company that provides services or product to local consumers.  By the way, our original client who 55 years ago was a small 2 location restaurant organization has grown to over 200 locations and they still use our Mystery Shopping Service and utilize our current Digital Marketing Services.

Our Management

Matt Klein is Managing Director and CEO of Client Expectations. Matt has spent his career helping business organizations develop and execute strategies to outPerform, outSell, and outCompete their competition. Matt is an internationally recognized speaker, writer, and thought leader in sales, value propositions, marketing, mobile & internet technology, strategic alliances and partnering, business strategy and management. Matt has over 25+ years’ North American and International business development experience providing top-line revenue growth solutions for B2C and B2B companies.

Dr. Dan Simerlink is the VP of Digital Strategies at Client Expectations. He also leads many executives and business leaders through the strategic planning process as a Marketing Professor at Indiana Wesleyan University. Dan has had a 20+ year career, specializing in B2C & B2B sales, with expertise in technology sales, new business development, and channel marketing. This includes accelerating sales through Social Media, Web 2.0, blogs, e-books, mobile strategies, social networking, video production, e-mail marketing, webinars and telesales programs.
